About me
Sophie is a Clinical Herbalist, musician, and creative with a deep passion for plant medicine and the healing arts. As a certified Clinical Herbalist, she is dedicated to sharing the power of plants with people from all walks of life. Rooted in the traditions of herbal medicine, Sophie is committed to learning, preserving and practicing the wisdom passed down by generations of herbalists.
Her journey began with hands-on training under renowned herbalist Brigitte Mars, and she later completed the three-year Clinical Herbalism program at Arborvitae School of Traditional Herbalism. Since that time, Sophie has used her knowledge in many different capacities. She has formulated for different brands such as Anima Mundi Apothecary, Parch Spirits Co., and Nite Swim Bath Shop. She teaches regular classes + retreats in places such as the Omega Institute + Anima Mundi Apothecary in Brooklyn, NY.
Mostly, Sophie is dedicated to honoring the sacred connection between plants + people.
Holistic: characterized by the treatment of the whole person, rather than just the symptoms of an illness.
